Deeper Life

Alongside the Wednesday Youth Night, our Deeper Life programs are geared towards those youth that want to go deeper in their relationship with God.

You reap what you sow.

It doesn’t take a lifelong gardener to understand that basic principle. Acorns will only grow into oak trees. You’ll never get beautiful flowers or a wheat harvest from them! The seed sown is the plant grown.

In Galatians 6, the Apostles Paul tells us that the same is true of our relationship with God: if we “sow” our time and energy into God’s things, we’ll reap the most amazing harvest of eternal life; if we “sow” our time and energy into things that don’t reflect God’s heart and purposes, that’s what’ll grow in our lives.

Deeper Life is one way to commit to sowing our time and energy into God’s things. There are any number of things to commit our time and energy to, many of them good and worthwhile. This is your invitation to make your relationship with God your priority in life. Jesus says in Matthew 6:33, “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

There’s an intimate connection between spiritual growth and service. We grow as we serve and serve as we grow. What we take in needs to be put into practice and as we live out our faith, we realize our need to grow even closer to Jesus! In Deeper Life, we’ll eat together, pray together, worship together, learn together, and serve together. You’ll be stretched and challenged to live out your faith as you learn and grow in your relationship with Jesus.

Join us as we pursue deeper life together!
